Several times a year, Scuba Ted's travels
to the coast for some real ocean diving. One of the most popular
trips takes place on the Horizon,
a dive boat that sails from San Diego, California to Catalina Island and surrounding
isles. The Horizon provides hundreds of diving opportunities, from easy dives
to specialty dives such as wreck and night dives.

Visibility at Catalina Island averages about 60 feet. Water temperature
ranges from 50 to 70 degrees F. All kinds of marine life live
in these waters, including sea lions, eels, and large, bright
orange fish called Garibaldi.

The Horizon sleeps 30 people and provides 2 or 3 day excursions,
at $350 and $450, respectively. All-you-can-eat buffets and unlimited
