Malia Penrod - PADI Assistant Instructor

Scuba Ted's Dive Center's are thrilled to welcome Malia Penrod as one of our new staff members. Malia has been diving since May of 2009 and has already spent over a year and a half working as a Divemaster, guiding dives in Cabo San Lucas. Malia recieved her PADI Divemaster rating in March of 2010. She just recently recieved her Assistant Instructor rating in March of 2011. She plans on taking her Open Water Scuba Instructor tests later this year, on top of her heavy workload with her fulltime job and her college schedule. The entire staff at Scuba Ted's is thrilled with how much fun Malia makes the Discover Scuba sessions that she is now in charge of. She exudes fun while working with the folks who are trying scuba for the first time. Her bright smile and bubbly personality make diving fun for everyone who tries scuba with Malia. As an Assistant Instructor, she enjoys helping with class's and guiding students to a better understanding of the skills of diving.
